“me” time or samtin’

Just got back from a 3-day trip to Baguio and yeah that solo adventure was worth it! Achieved what I wanted when I decided to scrap my Bohol trip for later date and go to the city of pines instead. I was looking for a “way out” to something/situations thats been bothering me since HolyWeek. Yeah, you got it right.. heartache. Hahahaha!

Arrived there before midnyt Monday/Tuesday and stayed in City Lights hotel, I occupied a room that has its basics (bed-cabletv-heater), near SM and Session Road. Just like what I wanted, though no free breakfast. But I don’t usually eat breakfast anyways and don’t have plans on waking up so early either so its okay.

Just wanted to take some time off from work… i think they call it “me” time or samtin’.
Yep, that’s really what I want. Wonder somewhere where no one knows me (syet feeling artista, hahaha) and relax, pamper myself and gain the confidence i somewhat lost due to petty distractions. Petty or pretty! Hahaha!

Well anyways, seems I’m a wonderer, I bumped into a place in John Hay called “cemetery of negativism”, well as the title goes its a cemetery though not for the usual persons who died in accident, intentional or natural death. Though its broad daylight and the cemetery is out in the open, still felt weird since all the tomb there has an animal statue on its top. From dogs to turtles, each tomb has a passage that connotes a negative, ironic, bluntly sad messages (i assumed thats the reason of the name of the place). I somewhat smiled a little since I think I bumped to the right place to “release” the absurd feelings that I’ve been carrying for weeks.

Oh yeah, another reason that I wanted to go out was to take pictures, from flowers to coffee, magazine to receipt, anything! As long as my battery wont run out. Hahaha! I was testing myself if im really ready to graduate from a point and shoot to a beginner Dslr, which I plan to buy once I get my bonus, soon!!! Hahaha! Super excited! Anyhow, I boarded a bus on route to manila around 5pm wednesday, so I would be probably back to manila around 11pm. The trip was quite enjoyable since I got to sit by a nice, pretty young lady (flight attendant by the looks and books that she’s reading). Hahahaha! Talk about getting over heartache just like that! hahahaha! Just kiddin’. It only means that there’s more chocolates beside toblerone bars! Hahahah! So go figure and explore!

Don’t waste time for someone who doesn’t appreciate you for what you are, what you have done and what you are capable of. A little tenderness and sympathy comes in handy from time to time and it probably won’t kill you if you do so. Jah!
